Vista has introduced a range of PIR detectors designed for accurate and reliable outdoor perimeter protection, irrespective of weather conditions.
A number of technologies have been employed to ensure the range achieves the best accuracy available on the market. For example, Adaptive Threshold Discrimination technology reduces the number of nuisance alarms caused by vegetation, small animals and sudden environmental changes. This works by continually averaging background noise and adjusting the alarm threshold, allowing sensitivity to be automatically adjusted to suit site conditions.
